Mr. Woods was Born in San Jose, CA and moved to Highland, UT before his 9th grade year. He loved skiing in winters and played football, basketball, soccer and ran track in school. He also enjoyed acting in school plays. Following high school, he attended Brigham Young Univiersity for a semester before serving an LDS Mission to Northern Italy. Following his church service, he returned to BYU for another year, meet and married his wife, now of 23 years, Karen. He transferred to the University of Utah, where he graduated in 1985 with a degree in social work 1995 from the University of Utah, as well. His wife and him have 3 beautiful daughters. This is his twenty first year an education with Washington County School District. He has taught school, counseled, and coached at Pine View High, Pine View Middle, Dixe High, Dixie Middle, and now, Fossil Ridge Intermediate school.
