Faculty and Staff | Mrs. Cook

Mrs. Cook has been a teacher of mathematics for 20 years. She started her career in Southern California and relocated to Utah 13 years ago. She has taught math to students of various age groups; High School and Intermediate School. In the past, Mrs. Cook has been an activity director and a soft ball coach. She is currently teaching math at Fossil Ridge Intermediate school where she is also the department Chairperson and Math Counts Coach.
In her spare time, Mrs. Cook loves to golf and read. She has spent the last few summers in Europe, traveling as chaperone for an educational youth travel program. She also offers week long workshops to other math teachers in Washington County.
Mrs. Cook was the Washington County School District Teacher of the Year in 2004. In 2005, she was a finalist for the Presidential Award of Excellence in Math for the State of Utah.
