Faculty and Staff | Mrs.Drake
Lucy Drake loves teaching seventh grade Language Arts and Utah Studies here at Fossil Ridge Intermediate. Mrs. Drake was born in Salt Lake City but grew up in Southern California. She graduated ,magna cum laude from Brigham Young University with an English major and a history minor. She has taken post graduate classes from BYU and Southern Utah University. Before coming to Fossil Ridge, Mrs. Drake taught tenth grade English at Bonneville High School in Ogden and, more recently, homebound students at Dixie Middle School. The students in her classes will enjoy the magic of good literature and improve their own writing skills. They will also learn about the land, history, and people of the state of Utah. Mrs. Drake and her husband Lyle are the parents of six children. She looks forward to each day with her students as an opportunity to help them cultivate their educational potential.
