Faculty and Staff | Mrs. Ramsay
Mrs. Ramsay graduated from Southern Utah University with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with a minor in art and a special endorsement in early childhood. She also attended Dixie State College where she earned the degree of Associate of Science and was inducted into Phi Theta Kappa fraternity. In 1999-2000, she was awarded Washington County Teacher of the year given by Sunny 93.5 radio station and Color Country's own KSCG 4of Cedar city and St. George. This award was by vote from the community. She also has additional training in gifted and talented activites for elementary school students. She is a sixth-grade debate coach and history fair coach. She has been teaching sixth grade for thirteen years. Hobbies and interests are oil painting, playing the piano, and reading historical fiction books. Mrs. Ramsay has traved to many parts of the world and sharing those experiences are a part of her curriculum. Her class motto is "Success is often just trying, trying, and trying again."
