Faculty and Staff | Ms. Lafaele

Having lived in the desert most of her life, Miss Lafaele considers herself a "Desert Girl," with a mix of "Island Flavor." She spent most of her growing up years in Northern Arizona on the Navajo Reservation, but moved to St. George before her sophomore year. After graduating from Pine View High School in 1999, she attended Dixie College where she found love, Broadcasting. Realizing she had a knack for it, she has worked with the Community Education Channel (winning several awards with them), U-Vision (shooting basketball games for the Huntsman Center in Salt Lake), and KCSG-TV. After leaving Dixie College, she attended BYU-Hawaii and discovered the simplicity of reading on the beach, the fascinating world of sand crabs, good food and friends, and the gross amount of food found and made in a school cafeteria! Miss Lafaele graduated from BYU-Hawaii with a degree in English and Communications in 2003. Miss Lafaele loves anything to do with English, especially finding spelling mistakes in publucations.
