Mrs. Rainey

Mrs. Rainey was born in Bountiful, Utah. She has two sisters and one brother. Although born with Utah roots, she lived in a number of places while growing up. Mrs. Rainey attended elementary school in Lubbock, Texas, where she acquired a strong southern accent. During her junior high years she moved to Laie, Hawaii. While living in Hawaii, Mrs. Rainey took advantage of all the beach and surfing time she could. After three years of living it up in the sun and fun in Hawaii, she moved to Macomb, Illinois. While living in Illinois, Mrs. Rainey finished high school and graduated from Western Illinois University with a Bachelors Degree in Marketing and business. She than worked in business management in Iowa City, Iowa. She later relocated to Cedar City, Utah where she attended Southern Utah University and received her teaching license. Her first teaching assignment was in Ogden, Utah. During this time Mrs. Rainey met and married her husband. They relocated to St. George, Utah where Mrs. Rainey taught 7th grade at Desert Hills Intermediate, Lava Ridge Intermediate, and Fossil Ridge Intermediate. Mrs. Rainey recently completed her masters degree in Education with an Administrative license. She is currently an administrator here at Fossil Ridge. Mrs. Rainey just had her first child, a beautiful little baby girl. She is also in avid world traveler and has had an opportunity to visit England, France, Spain, Monaco, Italy, and Australia. She and her husband hope to continue to see the world with their children, but call the red rocks of St. George home.
